Royson James weighs in

The Toronto’s Star City Columnist, Royson James, devoted several pages of the GTA section on Saturday, October 28, to the new faces he would like to see at City Hall – “10 (mostly) fresh faces who deserve a chance.” One is John Sewell.

Here is what he says about John:

“Cranky and difficult, yes, but tenacious and driven to a fault. The Millerites will be held to account under his watch. No free passes. With the ex-Toronto mayor and amalgamation fighter Sewell as watchdog, there’ll be fewer secret deals, improved integrity and greater accountability – all sorely lacking over the past three years.”

We may not agree with the “cranky and difficult” parts – well, maybe sometimes - but the rest seems to be pretty accurate.
